Adjustment and operation of thread rolling machine

Release time:

Automatic circulation mode: Start the hydraulic motor, turn the selector switch to automatic, and adjust the automatic feeding and rolling time and the backward stop time according to the hydraulic needs.

Change the working position of the selector switch to select automatic rolling, foot mode rolling, and manual mode.

Automatic circulation mode: Start the hydraulic motor, turn the selector switch to automatic, and adjust the automatic feeding and rolling time and the backward stop time according to the hydraulic needs. At this time, the sliding seat performs feed motion under the hydraulic pressure controlled by the forward time relay, and the sliding seat performs backward stop motion under the control of the backward stop time relay.

Pedal cycle mode: Plug in the pedal wire connector, and then the time relay stops working. Using the pedal switch, the sliding seat moves forward under hydraulic pressure. After completing the work rolling, lift the foot, and the sliding seat returns under hydraulic pressure.

II. When installing the thread roller, the connecting wheel rods should be wiped clean. When loading and unloading the thread roller, first remove the support seat of the wheel rod, install the thread roller on the wheel rod, and adjust the thread roller to the required axial position with the aid of an adjusting washer. The end faces of the two thread rollers should be adjusted to a horizontal plane as much as possible. The thread roller and the support seat bearing are combined with washers to prevent the axial movement of the thread roller.

The support seat should be located at the center of the workpiece. The position of the support seat needs to change as the diameter of the rolled workpiece changes. Adjustment method: Loosen the two fixing bolts, move the support seat to the desired position, and tighten the bolts.

The IV support block is installed on the support base, with the top end welded with cemented carbide. Loosen the fastening bolts of the support block, add or remove shims at the bottom of the support block to adjust the height of the support block, and then tighten the bolts. The height of the support block plays an important role in the rolling process.

(1) The height of the support block depends on the specification of the rolled workpiece, and can be slightly higher or lower depending on the workpiece material. In general, for ordinary steel, high-quality carbon steel, and nonferrous metal workpieces, the center of the workpiece can be slightly lower than the center of the roller rod by 0 to 0.25 mm, and for high-strength high-quality alloy steel, stainless steel workpieces, the center of the workpiece can be slightly higher than the center of the roller rod. Users should adjust according to actual conditions during use.

(2) The width of the support block should be based on the starting point that the thread roller will not collide with the support block during rolling. For workpieces with a diameter of less than M10, the maximum allowable width should be taken. For workpieces with a diameter of more than M10, a larger width of the top end of the support block is allowed, but it is not necessary to exceed 18mm.
